Food Perspectives, Inc. Recognized as a Women's Business Enterprise

December 10, 2013 (Plymouth, MN) -Food Perspectives, Inc. (FPI), a full-service consumer insights and product testing company, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Development Center - Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Development Center – Chicago is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.

Food Perspectives, Inc. Names Melissa Cohen Vice President, Information & Analytics

July 10, 2013 (Plymouth, MN) - Food Perspectives, Inc. (FPI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Cohen as Vice President, Information & Analytics. In this new leadership role, she will be responsible for the company’s overall management of information and data, including Survey Logic and Programming, Data Processing and Analytics, Insight Generation and Reporting.

Melissa comes to FPI with a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a wealth of experience in analytics, survey research and data driven insights. Most recently, she held a leadership role in Research and Consumer Insights with Aimia where she directed primary and secondary research, and covered research activities from business development through presentation of results and recommendations. Prior to Aimia, Melissa was employed with Maritz Research.

Food Perspectives, Inc. Promotes Lisa Moceri to Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration

March 6, 2013 (Plymouth, MN) - Food Perspectives, Inc. (FPI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Lisa Moceri to Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration.

Lisa joined FPI in July of 2008 as Director of Finance and Administration. Lisa’s financial acumen and overall leadership have allowed FPI to enjoy significant growth over her nearly five years with the company. Lisa has been the driving force behind many key initiatives, most recently leading FPI’s strategic planning activities to ensure continued expansion and improved customer service. Significant among Lisa’s accomplishments was the initiative to design and construct FPI’s new facility, widely considered to be among the best product testing facilities in the country.

Food Perspectives, Inc. Names Joyce Lizzi Vice President, Client Accounts


January 11, 2013 (Plymouth, MN) - Food Perspectives, Inc. (FPI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joyce Lizzi as Vice President, Client Accounts.  In this new leadership role, she will be responsible for Client Account Management, Research Methods and Design, and New Business Development.

Joyce comes to FPI with a wealth of experience in Consumer Insights Leadership.  She has over 17 years of marketing research experience, applying consumer learning to advance initiatives in the packaged goods, consumer retail, business-to-business and foodservice industries.  Most recently, she held a Senior Leadership role in Consumer Insights with General Mills.  Her career has also included positions with The Pillsbury Company and Hallmark cards.

Food Perspectives Inc. Announces New Testing Facility and Corporate Headquarters

12,000 square-foot facility expands quantitative and qualitative research capabilities

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (January 17, 2012) – Food Perspectives, Inc. (FPI) announces today the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art facility in Plymouth, Minn.

“This move is the culmination of several years of detailed planning and offers our clients expanded research options and flexibility to accommodate any testing need,” said Rick Bartholomew, FPI CEO. “We’re looking forward to sharing our new space with current and prospective clients who demand the best qualitative and quantitative research.”

From a research design perspective, FPI’s new 12,000 square-foot custom-designed testing facility offers clients the ability to mix and match the space to fit their unique needs. Two fully equipped commercial kitchens, two qualitative suites, four adaptable product demonstration rooms and two multi-purpose conference centers enable limitless test design possibilities for any product in any consumer industry.

“The new testing facility is fantastic. It reinforces our excellence in testing capabilities, enabling a wider range of techniques and services,” said Bartholomew. “In the past, we’ve been limited to food and beverage testing simply due to our facility limitations. Now, we can deliver research across the consumer packaged good industry. And, we can venture into vertically integrated testing – we can examine raw materials, foodservice equipment, packaging or the end product and the experience(s) consumers have with those components. We’re excited to have a space that keeps up with our demands for quality and ingenuity, allowing us to service a diverse spectrum of clients.”

The company’s new facilities offer clients better and more comfortable access to participate in and observe the research process. Client observation rooms, complete with full audio/visual capabilities and wireless internet access, are adjacent to every testing space. Plus, real-time video streaming allows clients to view testing sessions, provide input and track progress remotely.
