As VP, Information and Analytics, Melissa's role is leading and developing FPI's technical research capabilities.  Beyond flawless execution on her team's day-to-day work, her focus is expanding FPI's capabilities to bring additional value to clients through data collection, analytical, and reporting services.  Using her technical skills to create relevant, innovative solutions to fulfill client needs - and exceed their expectations - is her passion.

Melissa brings over 10 years of experience in research, analytics, marketing, and leadership to FPI, with past employers including Aimia (formerly Carlson Marketing) and Maritz Research.  She brings a broad-based perspective having had experience working with clients across more than a dozen different industries, including retail, agrichemicals, financial services, and automotive.  

Her educational accomplishments include:

Few people know that Beanie Babies put Melissa through college.  Her mother owned a retail business and when Beanie Babies were very popular she placed several large orders directly with their manufacturer. High demand led to backorders. Months later, 14,000 Beanie Babies were delivered in a single day. Melissa and her family spent the next few weeks selling them, and later that year several more shipments arrived with the same result.  To this day, Melissa can't look at a Beanie Baby without getting flashbacks!
